Wanwan Expressway
The Wanwan Expressway starts from the capital of Laos, Vientiane, and ends in Vientiane, Laos. The total length of the route is 109.1 kilometers, and it is a two-way four lane expressway with a design speed of 80-100 kilometers per hour. The completion of the project will end the history of no highways in Laos, and the travel time from Vientiane to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, will be shortened from 4 hours to 1.5 hours.
On December 30, 2018, the construction of Wanwan Expressway began
On December 20, 2020, the Wanwan Expressway was completed and opened to traffic.
